A staple chain in San Diego, Better Buzz is known for their classic drink, appropriately named The Best Drink Ever. Everyone we know that’s tried it has loved it! They also have plenty of tasty lattes, iced coffees, and yummy breakfast items. You can find them in Hillcrest, Pacific Beach, Fashion Valley, and soon in La Jolla!
Located in North Pacific Beach, Java Earth is a local favorite. Not only do they have tasty coffee and tea drinks, but they have plenty of food items. Whether you’re craving a bagel, a burrito, or panini, Java Earth has you covered.
Holsem is a hot spot in North Park for specialty lattes and cold brew. If you’re a coffee connoisseur, you’ll love this place! Their unique drinks like banana bread cold brew and a strawberry malt latte are perfect for a weekend morning.
You’ll find this cute shop in the heart of Clairemont. It’s a perfect spot for studying for your next exam or catching up with friends. If you like chai tea, you’ll love The Dreamer–don’t be scared by its bright blue color. If coffee is more your vibe, try The Fanatic.
Bird Rock is a San Diego favorite for morning coffee. While their menu is a bit more limited than most other shops, everything on it is fantastic. Their main location in Bird Rock is an open-air cafe, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Try one of their mochas made with specialty chocolate or go for a cold brew.
Closer to North County you’ll find Nutmeg, a cute bakery and cafe. They have great coffee, great food, and great staff. Whether you want a tasty sandwich or a scramble, Nutmeg has options to satisfy you. They also have a number of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options!
This adorable coffee shop has locations in both North and South Park. Their North Park location is split with a flower shop, so whether you need a bouquet or a caffeine boost, you can find it here. Try one of their specialty lattes or delicious breakfast treats.
