How to Light the Pilot on Your Water Heater

Video Transcript

hey guys! It’s Olivia with Good Life Property Management. I’m going to show you how to relight your water heater. If your water heater is off, this status light is going to not be blinking green so you’ll turn this red knob here over to pilot. Then push it in and then you’ll press this red button up until this green light turns back on and then you’ll turn the knob back to the correct setting which is usually B. Then to check that it’s lit, you’re going to move this sight glass here and you’ll be able to see it right through that window there.
